ONLINE DHARMA SERVICES AND LECTURES
By visiting a temple’s livestream video page at the scheduled time, you are able to join service, chant and listen to dharma messages from your home. Check temple websites to confirm weekly livestream schedules, as services may not be streamed every Sunday.
Temples may also offer recordings of recent services or dharma talks, with many now posting new content on a weekly basis.
JSBTC Lecture Series
The Toronto Buddhist Church is pleased to announce a new online speaker series called "Buddhism and..." These online seminars will be an opportunity to learn about Buddhism and other topics of interest from Canadian life. In 2022, TBC will host two seminars - one in the Spring, and one in the Fall.
As our inaugural speaker, Dr. Jennifer Bright will be speaking about Buddhism and Mental Health. She is an expert in this field through her work in Buddhist psycho-spiritual care at Mount Sinai Hospital (Toronto) as well as her position as adjunct professor in the Master of Pastoral Studies program (Buddhist stream) in Emmanuel College (Toronto School of Theology and Univ. of Toronto), teaching courses such as "Buddhist Psychotherapy" and "Buddhist Approaches to Mental Health."
With mental illness experienced by 1 in 3 Canadians in their lifetimes many of us are affected by it directly or indirectly. This will be a valuable opportunity to explore the relationship between Buddhism and mental health. Please join us for this 2-part presentation on 04 April, and 02 May, 2022 8:00 PM (EST). Registration is free and can be made through the Toronto Buddhist Church website.
Vancouver Buddhist Temple
Reverend Tatsuya Aoki of the Vancouver Buddhist Temple delivers live Zoom services, which includes shin meditation, a dharma talk, and sutra chanting. They are usually scheduled for two Saturdays per month. Please click to register for ongoing events and check the Vancouver Buddhist Temple calendar for times and dates.
Rev. Aoki has also uploaded past dharma messages to YouTube.
Steveston Buddhist Temple
Rev. Grant Ikuta of the Steveston Buddhist Temple holds Zoom services every Sunday morning at 10:00 am PDT.

Calgary Buddhist Temple
Rev. Robert Gubenco of the Calgary Buddhist Temple leads a live daily evening service and weekly Sunday service on Facebook Live.
The evening services start at 8:00 pm PDT.
The Sunday Services start at 9:00 am PDT.
If you're not a member of the Calgary Buddhist Temple Facebook group, you will need to request to be added to the group before you'll be able to share in the service.

Toronto Buddhist Church
Rev. Yoshimichi Ouchi of the Toronto Buddhist Church live streams a weekly Sunday Service on both Zoom and Facebook Live. You will need to register for both. Click on the icons for a registration link to either application.
Buddhist Temple of Southern Alberta
Monthly Shotsuki services from the Buddhist Temple of Southern Alberta are streamed on the first Sunday of each month on YouTube.
Also available are a series of ten short videos, "10 Things to do to cope with COVID-19. The videos were produced by Dr. Roland Ikuta (President of the BTSA) can be found on the Buddhist Temple of Southern Alberta Facebook page.
